Caltag Commences UK Distribution

Getting FRS Pioneer into the hands of more researchers is one of the most important things we’re working on at the moment.

We’ve spoken with a surprisingly wide variety and number of distributors over the last 12 months, but after our first meeting with Caltag, we knew we wanted to work with this team.

Caltag works closely with researchers who care about reproducible, consistent cell culture, and thus they have particularly strong expertise in chemically defined media. There’s a natural fit with FRS™ Pioneer.

FRS™ Pioneer is our broad-spectrum, chemically defined, animal-component-free serum replacement for mammalian cell culture. It’s designed to work with existing basal media and protocols, rather than requiring researchers to completely rethink their culture system.

We’re really glad to be making FRS™ Pioneer and our paired adhesion proteins (including GECKO, our optimised, animal-free fibronectin + vitronectin blend) more accessible to researchers across the UK through Caltag Medsystems.
